Gina is a 500 Hour Registered Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, Yoga Retreat Leader and New Mother from Long Island, New York. Yoga became a daily practice for Gina when she realized that while on her mat, she was able to turn off her over-thinking mind. After practicing for about ten years, she started Yoga Teacher Training in 2015, when she knew she needed to share her passion and gift of service with others. Gina teaches that yoga can heal the body, mind and spirit, with awareness on breath, alignment and the present moment. She has studied and practiced under many incredible teachers in all traditions and combines asana and philosophy influences from numerous lineages. She feels it’s important to keep the practice safe and gentle, yet challenging and exciting, so no two classes are ever the same. With permission, Gina uses hands-on assists to help bring more body awareness and correct alignment to each pose, elevating the individuals yoga experience. She just moved to the Portland area in December, 2019 and can’t wait to share this healing practice with you!
